Our camp photographer plays a crucial role in capturing the summer camp experience. They capture precious moments and tell the stories of the friendships and adventures that define our community.
A camp photographer will primarily be responsible for capturing and processing high quality images of all campers, activities, special events, staff and facility. Much of your day is spent outside taking daily photos. Your responsibilities also include saving, processing the pictures, and uploading to our camp website on a nightly basis for families.
This important role is a great way to practice your photography in a fast-paced environment. Images will also be used for promotional and marketing materials, our website, or social media accounts. You are welcome to bring your own photography gear or use the gear provided by camp.
Should have experience with portraits, landscapes, sports photography and photo editing programs such as Lightroom, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop. Applicants for the photographer position must have completed at least one year of college (or equivalent) with experience in photography. Should have the ability to move around uneven terrain for several hours or more a day. A strong interest in working with children as the interaction between photographer and camper is key for the best shots!
