Use Our Private Disc Golf Course

Disc golf instructors must be experienced in playing and/or coaching the game. Participants play on our 18-hole course and utilize mobile equipment for drills and games. Our program emphasizes individual skill development and de-emphasizes the head-to-head competitive aspects of sports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with all levels of campers, 7-16 years of age.
  • Plan and run several hour-long lessons each day with the goal of creating fun while building technique.
  • Male counselors will live in a cabin with five to seven boys, ages 7-16.
  • Female counselors instruct in activity areas and have additional duties in place of cabin coverage.

Qualifications

Applicants should have knowledge of disc golf from playing and/or coaching the sport previously. They should be able to model proper techniques, throws, and strategy. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college and have a strong interest in working with children. High Rocks can offer specific training and certifications as needed.
